Upcoming road trip goes poorly as I expect, playoff hopes diminish, Blazers face reality and tank for best draft position

I think they pretty much limp through the rest of the season and miss the playoffs. Hope for the best Pick they can get. Maybe couple it with the Knicks pick and try to move up in the draft?

 

The Trail Blazers' uphill battle to make the play-in ....

 

Worst Case is they finish the last 20 games at 4 and 16

Best Case -- 10 and 10

Most likely -- 7 / 8 AND 13/12

My guess is the most Likely scenario of 7 to 8 more Wins and the team misses the play in but I think I would prefer worst case for better odds in the lotto

However almost does not matter as long as we have a caretaker cause that is all Jodi is since she must sell in the near future so all she cares about is the money side more then making it so the team can win. Then we have a inept and unprepared GM who never should have had the main job maybe he is a good assistant GM or something but he sucks and I will concede maybe Jodi is to blame but even factoring that in he still grades out to below average over just plain bad. Then we got last but not least I think the team should consider making a change at HC but a tad more open to one more year under the right changes to roster and maybe changes on the coaching staff. All I know is something has to change after this season or next year will be like a groundhog day season more of the same and another lotto bound team and another year wasted in Dame's great career.

This is the sad truth we are facing as a fan base and I wish I could be more optimistic but unless we get lucky in the lotto and some other things happen the next few years IF things stay the same will be a disaster and that is a fact.
