You're not the only one not freaking out...nor the only one who is yawning through this process....2 seasons...56-88 ...if Stotts had that record you'd freak out.

Nurkic is a Top 15 center when he and the Blazers are healthy … but … he isn’t a 32+ minute center … and he can fit better on a half court team. Anfernee turned the ankle and they will hopefully tap on the brakes for his return. Atlanta looks like a loss and the Detroit and Orlando games now look tougher. The 6 games that follow — rough sledding. I wouldn’t be surprised by a 2-7 or 3-6 record. With 11 games after that, pull the plug on any injured player and load manage the others. Out of the final 11 games, Portland wins 2-4.

    29-33.
    5-15 in the last 20. Lottery. 34-48.
Knicks make the playoffs. Their pick goes to Chicago.
Nurkic and Ant traded in the off-season.

[EDITED the record due to errors in math ... fewer wins :check:.]

It goes as the schedule goes. Then it will go no more.

I don't agree at all about Nurkic. We have two half-court players, Lillard and Simons. Everyone else on the roster, including Nurkic, benefits from more ball movement which includes full-court ball movement. I'm sure Nurkic would much rather throw a rebound to someone running up the court than to someone who's going to dribble slowly while "the offense" gets set. We know what Lillard and Simons prefer to do.
That Nurkic ever stands around is a symptom of our offense, not Nurkic.
No, he's not the fastest center up the court, but any kind of movement means he's going to be more open than if he needs to back his way into the basket.
I don't mean to say that he is not effective in half-court play.
I mean that Nurk is not the guy shutting down a full-court offense.

It’s kinda been done. Before Game 3 in 2018, per someone’s suggestion, I stuck voodoo pins in a stuffed pelican and left it in a graveyard,

    Tough to call
On one hand it could be great

    Second thought, maybe not
    Here’s hoping it’s fantastic
I guess it’s too hard to predict
    Truly could go either way

We will wake up and play great and go on a couple long winning streaks and make the playoffs as the 5th seed. :smiley-smiley-049:

Here’s the key FAMS….. google the definition of “HOPE” and “WILL”. Every preseason you can HOPE for certain things to happen all you want, but you have to consider what realistically WILL happen.
It really is a fantastic tool to keep yourself from freaking out all season.
I promise you it won’t make you any less of a fan to be realistic.

    Blazers win 5 games

    Blazers miraculously win the lottery

    Blazers draft Wemby

During Training camp Wemby hurts knee

    Wemby gets surgery

Wemby comes back to show flashes of greatness

Wemby gets hurt again and never plays more than 50 games for Blazers over 3 seasons

Wemby retires to become a dentist

Wemby comes back at age 26 and plays for Lakers

Wemby becomes an iron man that leads LA to multiple rings.
