    I think clearly the offense is solid and we should expect sharper play as the players gel. The defense remains a concern.

    What defense mess LOL? I didn’t see any tonight. Just a series of Canadiens breakaways, 2 on 1’s and 3 on 2’s. I don’t see much improvement coming on D as they’ve been lackluster pretty much this whole season. Kane is sloooooowwwwwwww!

    I think even the most optimistic of us would agree if we don't tighten up on D/in our own zone, we are in for trouble in the playoffs, and will struggle to win a round. I remain hopeful they can/will tighten it up, and make the simple plays to get the puck out of the zone, as opposed to trying the pretty play.

    Getting Lindy back will help. They allow too much space in the defensive zone. Barely anyone finishes their checks.
