Prime Time calling it quits

It was announced that Deion Sanders will retire after 14 seasons. Sanders has become a mentor to the defensive backs on the roster and his leadership will be missed.

 

He's kind of old so I can see why he's leaving. I guess this is kinda like it was when Darrel Green left the Redskins. Looks like his spirit will remain in his adopted son though when he gets into the league.

 

I definetely see him coming back as a coach one day. Not a head coach but something among the lines of a coaching job.Thanks for the last few years Primetime.

I heard this at the beginning of the offseason. He said that he was done, it's not a big suprise. He couldn't play to the level he could before he retired but he was there more for helping out the youngsters. He isn't done with football thats for sure. He still has his adopted son Noel Devine so he will be able to mentor him. Once Noel makes it to the NFL I wouldn't be suprised to see him enter the coaching ranks.

 

I won't believe this untill I see the link, I think he could stay 1 more year.

I knew it was coming since the middle of the season, he said it was gonna be his last season so im not really surprise, he'll be missed because he was so exciting to watch back when he was young. Hopefully he'll cheer up everybody when he broadcast something.
