NOTES

  • This is the second of two games this season between the Trail Blazers and Knicks
  • The Trail Blazers defeated the Knicks 132-129 OT in New York on 11/25
  • The Trail Blazers and Knicks split the 2021-2022 season series 1-1
  • Josh Hart played for the Blazers during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 season and was traded to the Knicks for Cam Reddish and Ryan Arcidiacono (as well as Mattisse Thybulle) in a four team deal
  • Kevin Knox was drafted by the Knicks in 2018 and played for them till the 2021-22 season when he was traded to Atlanta for Cam Reddish. Both are now Blazers
  • Moses Brown started his career with the Blazers in the 2019-20 season as a two way player after going undrafted.

let's hope the Knicks have a short memory. The Blazers went into NY and the refs blew the whistle every time someone got anywhere near a Blazer. The FT extravaganza game had Knicks fans reaming their team out something fierce.

Barrett still can't hit a 3, but he fires them off anyways. That's about the only saving grace in this matchup. Hope the Knicks brick everything from deep, and Portland gets hot from downtown. A massive size discrepancy, rebounds, defense, that all favors the Knicks.

Chauncey sure sounded low energy in the pregame interview. Didn't sound very confident that we can defend anybody

Early forced 3s while guarded are asinine shots. Dame has to get this team in its offense

Bad shot by Dame. He had a big on him and instead of swinging and finding a mismatch, or creating one for himself, he forced a fadeaway with a center on him down low

I liked the Watford with Nurk pairing. Having to bigs as willing passers really opens up the offense for others.

Blazers up at half. Knicks benefitting from some BS calls.

Call me jaded but I don’t feel great about a 6 point lead after leading by double digits most of the first half.
