NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump said in a social media post that he expects to be arrested Tuesday as a New York prosecutor is eyeing charges in a case examining hush money paid to women who alleged sexual encounters with the former president. Trump provided no evidence that suggested he was directly informed of a pending arrest and did not say how he knew of such plans.

But in a Saturday morning message on his Truth Social network, Trump noted “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan district attorney’s office that he said indicate “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK.”

With his indictment by a Manhattan grand jury expected but its timing uncertain, former President Donald J. Trump declared on his social media site Saturday that he would be arrested on Tuesday, and demanded that his supporters protest on his behalf.

Mr. Trump made the declaration on Truth Social at 7:26. a.m., in a post written in all capital letters that ended by saying, “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

And of course, Jews are behind the grand jury.
 
As somebody who tuned this fuck of a person out YEARS ago…can somebody just tell me what he’s supposed to be getting in trouble for THIS time?
 
And is he going to be like Al Capone who gets busted on something like taxes instead of all the actual cruel things he did?

I think bribing whores would be a pretty funny way for a president to go down. I mean, tax evasion just doesn't seem to fit the Legend of Donald Trump.
 
Is there something specific he is getting busted for this time that might actually stick? We been getting told he’s going to jail for all his crimes for years.

He's getting busted for paying off someone for sex. That's the simplest form of the law he's breaking.

But this is only one indictment, there will be more in other states.
 
Ironic one of his least egregious actions. Gross but compared to sexual assault, massive tax fraud, attempting to overturn an election, using presidency for personal profit, inciting an insurrection, fucking a porn star and paying her for silence is small potatoes. Hopefully big potatoes will follow.
