Carolina is a very good counter-attack team. Seems like every turnover the Rangers have at their blue line ends up with the Canes getting a ton of possession time and scoring chances.

Guess they thought they were playing defensive schmucks

I thought Carolina controlled the second half of the game.

Yep thats how this team is gonna get beat in the playoffs. Great game by Panarin floating around doing nothing. This is how the games are played in the playoffs. He blows as soon as it gets tight.

Rangers sucked the last two periods. Hit the Canes. They are soft.

Oh well, refocus and getting going again in Carolina. At least Lindgren wasn't hurt again. Gotta watch the mental blunders leaving people alone in front.

Lindgren is a defensive liability. Always getting beat on defense, can’t stay on his feet and too small. The defensive duo of trouba-Miller is a disaster! What the hell was trouba doing behind the net with a man standing 5 feet away from Igor! UGH

Carolina had them running around in their own end for much of the second. They were finally able to get some goals in the third. It happens. Move onto the next one.

Please you tool. Lindgren is our best defender. He hasn’t played in two weeks

I think we are predestined to play NJ in round 1. This result, plus the Devs losing in OT, only raises that chance. Might be for the best playing a smaller inexperienced team rather than the vet Canes right away. I also think the Isles or Panthers will give the Canes a run for their money in round 1.

Like I said before as long as they dont play most of the time in their zone they should be fine. Talent and skill does not always win in the playoffs. The fourth line is the only line that can grind.

I said it earlier and I’ll stick to it. When the Canes are knocked out early, Brind’Amour will be fired. He is a lot like Torts where he expects his team to play regular season games all season long like it’s a playoff game and then they have nothing left in the tank. Gallant actually made a good point yesterday that you can’t play such a style that you have nothing left in the tank when it comes to the playoffs. Canes do that. Sadly, I think the Islanders will beat the Canes in the first round.

I'd forgotten what a bunch of cheap shots artists played for the Canes,. Kappo was getting mugged by two players while the game was going on should have been too many men on ice at least and it looked like Lindgren had his feet kicked out from under him on the game winning goal, Miller made 2 terrible decisions that cost the Rangers 2 goals, saw GG changed up the pairings later on but K'Andre needs to be more physical.

Yeah, that was a call that was definitely missed. Just have to move on. That stuff tends to be even over the course of a season.

Strange, but Miller plays much better in the playoffs

He will need to. As good as he was against Nashville he was equally as poor last night. I like him a lot and thought that he was going to struggle a bit coming off of his suspension. I hoped that the Nsh game was going to allow him to turn the corner but last night was a set back. I'm confident he'll bounce back quickly though.

Miller needs to stop gliding in with the jazz hands and drop the shoulder.
