A well-connected website, reported the Vikings are seeking a second-round draft pick for Culpepper, but that asking price could not be confirmed. A trade for so little compensation would conclude a stunning fall for Culpepper, 29, who put up MVP-caliber numbers as recently as 2004. Baltimore, Miami, Oakland and the New York Jets are among those teams who are expected to pursue quarterbacks this offseason. The Baltimore Sun reported the Ravens might be interested in placing their franchise tag on running back Jamal Lewis and then trading him for Culpepper.</div>Hm, well if we do this we mine aswell resign Chester Taylor while we are at it. If both RB's get their deals then I expect this to get done. We would be a dangerous offence with Daunte at the QB spot.
That wouldnt really be fair value for the Vikings.A more realistic offer is Jamal Lewis and a 3rd rounder for Culpepper.

Who will fill in for Daunte and take the starting role?</div>I am not sure if you watched the Vikes at all last season but Brad Johnson looked very good for them when Daunte went out. I think he was one of the bigger reasons they had as good of season as they did.I would definitely be willing to throwing in that third rounder if we can get a solid proven QB.
