Ok well...The Miami Dolphins Select DE/OLB Manny Lawson[IMG]Player ProfileManny Lawson School: North Carolina State Position: Defensive End Class: 2006 Height: 6'5" Weight: 220lbs Birthday: 40 Time: 4.51 (estimated)Positives - Despite playing defensive end at NC State, Manny?s shown he has more than enough athleticism to drop back to play linebacker. He may actually be on of the faster LB prospects in the country, which makes the fact that he played DE fairly astounding. He?s an excellent pass rusher, racking up 7 sacks and 12 tackles for loss last year, but is also very good in run support. Also, he has great size for an Outside Linebacker.Weaknesses - Hasn?t played linebacker since his sophomore year, so there?s going to be a natural readjustment period. The first thing that the team that drafts him will have to work on is his coverage skills, because the speed of the game will have changed a great deal from his last LB duty. Plus, he had the benefit of playing across from possibly the best DE in the nation at NC State in Mario Williams, so his numbers may be a little inflated.Overall Analysis - The risk/reward value on Manny is one of the highest in the 2006 class. He could never meet his expectations due to the inability to return to the LB position at a high level, or he could turn out to be one of the most dangerous linebackers in the league. Manny?s ideal situation would probably be in a 3-4, which would having him standing up, but also allow the freedom to rush the passer very, very often.

This makes me mad. This is a fun thing to do, and people sign up saying they can make there picks, and then they don't. It basically ruins it for everyone else.

With a compleate steal the Minnesota vikings select [IMG]DeAngelo Williams!Strengths:A natural and instinctive runner...Shows tremendous patience...Is built extremely well and is very strong for his size with a compact frame...Runs low to the ground and rarely lets defenders get a solid shot at him...Adept at breaking tackles and is very effective running up the middle...Is very quick with a burst...Plays faster than he times and can run away from people...Does a fine job as a receiver out of the backfield...Smart player with top intangibles who is a team leader and captain.Weaknesses:May have some durability questions after suffering injuries the past two seasons...Is not the biggest or fastest running back to come along in terms of measurables...Has carried the ball a lot and has some mileage on his tires...Gives good effort as a blocker but may never be great in that area...Raised some eyebrows when he chose to sit out the Tennessee game with an injury.Notes:One of the most productive running backs in NCAA history...Could have been a first rounder in 2005 but chose to return to school for his senior season...An all-around great runner who really lacks many glaring weaknesses...Easily the premier senior running back available in this draft...Has the ability to be a star runner in the NFL.SWEETNESS!

With the 19th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select.. Jonathan Scott - OT - Texas[IMG](from nfldraftcountdown.com)Strengths:Has excellent size with long arms and the frame to add even more weight...Lithe and very athletic with good quickness...Has tremendous feet...Moves extremely well and gets to the second level...Smart player with top intangibles...Has a lot of experience and has been very durable...Led the way for one of the most productive offenses in the nation throughout his career...Still has a lot of upside. Weaknesses:Suffers from bouts of inconsistency...An underachiever who doesn't always play up to his talent level...Needs to work on a refining his technique as he will overextend and get sloppy with his footwork at times...Needs to his the weights and get stronger...Not very physical...Doesn't always finish and lacks a nasty demeanor. Notes:Father Ray enjoyed a short stint with the New York Jets...In terms of measurables and physical tools this guy is the total package and the majority of his faults are correctable...Has the potential and ability to be a top left tackle in the NFL.

He is 6-5, he would fit well in a 3-4, he could play both LB and DE, he reminds me of someone on the Dolphins but I can't put my finger on who it is hmmmmmmmmmmm........

With the 19th pick, the San Diego Chargers select....CB - Virginia Tech - Jimmy Williams[IMG]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jimmy WilliamsHeight: 6-3 | Weight: 216 | 40-Time: 4.47Official BioStrengths:Has tremendous size and a big frame with long arms...Is a brilliant natural athlete...Has excellent speed...Can run with receivers and recovers well...Very strong and physical...Gets a good jam and knows how to use his mass to his advantage...A ferocious hitter who still has the mentality of a safety...Has fluid hips and shows good footwork...Versatile with experience at multiple positions...Still improving and still has a lot of upside.Weaknesses:May be a bit of a CB / S 'tweener...Will miss tackles while going for the knock out hit...Lacks discipline on the field...May not have the instincts to play corner at the next level...Inconsistent and doesn't always play up to his immense talent...Still developing after only two years of experience at the position...Very confident, bordering on cocky, and tends to give opposing teams bulletin board material.Notes:Former safety who could easily project to that position in the pros as well...Has an ideal blend of size, speed and athleticism...Has rare ability and physical tools...There could be some varied opinions as to what position he will play but a team would be crazy to not at least give him a chance outside at corner.</div>

With the 23rd pick, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select...Eric Winston, offensive tackle out of the University of Miami.[IMG]Height: 6-7 | Weight: 312 | 40-Time: 5.10Strengths:Has excellent size with long arms and the frame to add some additional weight...Extremely athletic and quick for the position...Has amazing feet...Mobility is outstanding...Can pull and block in space...Competitive and physical...Uses his hands well and has a good initial punch...Very smart and a hard worker with top intangibles...Gets better each game and still has a ton of upside and potential.Weaknesses:Suffered a major knee injury as a junior in 2004 and didn't appear to be fully recovered yet...Has some trouble with speed rushers...Can he play left tackle or will he have to move to the right side?...Raw and is still mastering the nuances and technique of the position...Needs to get stronger and continue to develop physically...Can he get much bigger without losing his quickness and mobility?Notes:Came to college as a tight end...Looked like a future elite left tackle prospect prior to the injury...Stock dropped in 2005 but that downturn in play might be attributed to his not yet being 100% healthy...It usually takes two seasons to come back from the type of surgery he had so some team may get a steal if he slips a little on Draft Day and then reverts back to the form he showed in 2003 and 2004.

With the 24th pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Broderick Bunkley, DT Florida State[IMG]Strengths:Very solid and compactly built...Extremely strong...Holds his ground and will not get pushed around...Has tremendous balance...Is very quick and explosive...Does a great job of penetrating and makes a lot of plays in the opponents backfield...Has a motor that never stops...Plays with good leverage...Locates the ball well...Gets a great push up the middle...Had an outstanding senior campaign.Weaknesses:Does not have great size or bulk...Durability is a concern and he has a history of knee and ankle problems...Has not been the hardest worker throughout his career...His lack of size might become more of a problem at the next level...Is on the ground too much...Was arrested for stealing a video game in 2003.Notes:Tore the ACL in his left knee while in high school and then tore the MCL in the same knee in 2002...Potential nose tackle...Could end up being one of the best defensive tackles the Noles have produced, which is really saying something.

Giants select ..... CB Tye Hill[IMG]Tye HillHeight: 5-10 | Weight: 180 | 40-Time: 4.40 (Ran a 4.3 at the combine)Official BioStrengths:One of the fastest players in the draft and it translates to the field...Has great recovery speed...An explosive athlete...Has a very solid build for his size...Plays the ball in the air well...Tough and physical...Isn't afraid to play the run...Very fluid with great hips...Tremendous leaper...Has gotten better each year...Very durable...Has a lot of experience...Still improving and has some upside.Weaknesses:Lacks ideal height...Hands are not the greatest and will drop some interceptions...Needs to improve in zone coverage...Will he be able to hold up physically at the next level?...Will have a hard time being as physical with pro receivers as he was with them in college...Is still raw and developing to a degree after dividing his attention between two sports for most of his collegiate career.Notes:Began his college career as a running back...Won ACC titles running the 60 (indoor), 100 and 400 (outdoor) for the Clemson track team...Focused his full attention on the gridiron as a senior and it showed...A better prospect than Jets 2nd round pick Justin Miller was a year ago and he started as a rookie.

With the 26th Pick, The Chicago bears select...[IMG] Leonard PopeLeonard Pope School: Georgia Position: Tight End Class: 2007 Height: 6'7" Weight: 253lbs Birthday: 9/9/83 40 Time: (estimated) Positives - Pope is the ideal tight end prospect. He has good hands, is athletic enough to make plays and can beat defenders in the open field. He has enough strength to be a good blocker and can beat the jam at the line of scrimmage. He has great height and can go up to get the ball. He has shown the ability to beat defenders for the jump ball downfield and in the endzone, making him a viable deep threat from the tight end spot.Weaknesses - He hasn't been asked to be much of a blocker yet, so the jury is out on him there. He's also benefited from a great college quarterback and a surrounding cast of NFL wide receivers. The 2005 season will be his and there will be a lot of pressure to produce.Overall Analysis - Pope is a top prospect going into the 2005 season, with only room to improve. He has top-level athleticism, hands and speed. He can block well enough to stay in on running plays and not hurt the team. He is also a great threat in the red zone.

Carolina Panthers select: Gabe WatsonPosition: Defensive TackleSchool: MichiganStatus: SeniorHeight: 6-4Weight: 33540-Yard Dash: 5.10Positives: When most people look at defensive lineman, they look for sacks. Watson isn't that kind of player. He is a run stopper. At 6'4 and 335 pounds, he is a whale of a man who stuffs the interior of the line. His big body is hard to get around and creates big problems for smaller guards and centers.Negatives: Watson is not very fast or agile. He won't get up field quickly, and recorded just 1.5 sacks in his career. He has started only 11 games at Michigan prior to the '05 season even though he wasn't redshirted. Needs some polish and to make better reads on plays. As of right now he more of a two gap tackle. Could be a one gap if he sheds a few pounds.Overview: With more teams switching to a 3-4 defense I could really see him going top ten in April. A team like the Browns could really use him in their defense. He is stronger than Rodrique Wright but not as agile. Watson is most comparable to Casey Hampton.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, in an effort to solidify their offensive line, select.....C Nick Mangold[IMG]Nick MangoldHeight: 6-3 5/8 | Weight: 300 | 40-Time: 5.05Official BioStrengths:Has good size and the frame to add more weight...Technically sound and plays with good leverage...Solid athlete with good quickness who moves well...Smart and a hard worker...Makes all the calls and is a leader along the offensive line...Competitive and plays with a nasty demeanor...Durable player who has started since 2003...Still has some upside with further physical development.Weaknesses:Does not have a wide base...Needs to hit the weight room and get stronger...Will struggle head-to-head against massive nose tackles...Is not very explosive or dominant...Doesn't always hold his blocks as long as he needs to...Does not get a great push in the run game...Might not be a perfect fit in just any type of scheme.Notes:Might fit best in a zone blocking scheme...Has all the tools you look for and his experience and intangibles push him over the top...Ready to step in and start for the next decade...One of the rare players at his position with first round potential.
