<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Ravens to let Jamal Lewis test free agencyBy Chris MortensenESPNclick thisThe Baltimore Ravens have informed running back Jamal Lewis that he will not receive the franchise or transition tag from the team, meaning he will become a free agent.General manager Ozzie Newsome informed Lewis of the move Wednesday morning and told Lewis the team wanted to give him a chance to test the market and see what his value is. The team, in fact, worried that tagging Lewis would anger him.The move does not preclude the Ravens from re-signing Lewis. The franchise contract number for Lewis is over $6 million, and the Ravens also don't want to eat up that much salary cap room.Backup running back Chester Taylor also will become a free agent on March 3.Chris Mortensen is an NFL reporter for ESPN.</div>

I don't think many teams will be interested in the "regressing" Jamal Lewis.

Now hopefully we can pick up DeAngelo Williams or Lendale White in the draft.

I doubt either of them will fall that low. But Maroney may fall around that area... the Ravens could probably get him.

I think one of DeAngelo Williams or LenDale White will fall to to #13, however 1) You wont get your choice of backs and 2) Im not so sure on the Ravens taking him.

Hm, I guess this means the deal for Daunte won't go down. That means I am back on the SIGN DREW BREES bandwagon. C'mon Baltimore, we need something!

[IMG] Boller is a good quarterback, but like I said before, it's all confidence with him. If he is rolling he is a top notch QB but if he gets in a slump he looks like a highschooler out there. If he can stay healthy this year and we get our HB situation under control then I think he will do alright. Although I am still all for a Drew Brees signing [IMG].

He was actually playing well near the end of the season but I doubt he'll keep it up. They definitely should look into getting Drew Brees if the Dolphins don't get him.

^ but would he accept being a short yardage back... I don't think he would like being a backup.
