  3. Yes, they should trade Sharpe, we need to build around Dame. It's the right move.

To me, keeping Sharpe is just a hairsbreadth below Dame. I've always believed he had Superstar potential, check my posts last summer after the draft. That said, he has now shown he has that potential and again he's only 19 and would have certainly gone for another 4-10 points in the last game if Billups hadn't shut him down early. This kid is hands down the best prospect I've seen the blazers draft other than healthy Oden at Ohio State and Sharpe honestly looks otherworldly. I could see him being the best player in the league in 5-7 years. He really does have that high of a ceiling. I think you build around Dame AND Sharpe. Trade Nurk, Ant, NY Pick even our pick to do what needs doing, but absolutely DO NOT trade Sharpe. Hell, when I think long term and upside, I'd almost trade Lillard first and I would NEVER trade Lillard without a demand by him. Feel free to disagree and explain below!

    Cheers.

For the right price, they are stupid enough to do it.

They can't buy that kind of talent on rookie contracts....Sharpe saves them money to get where they want to go with Dame...they won't trade him...they'll trade Ant and get his money off the books if they can get a vet that's a game changer. I say they have made Sharpe untouchable..probably Walker too on his rookie deal. They need value on cheap salaries.

Continue with the idea of keeping him unless and until someone makes genuinely serious inquiries. And then wait for the offer they can't refuse. Dangling him as bait only makes us look more desperate and invites low ball offers. I could see a team like Toronto getting stupid if their current mediocrity continues. After all, he's a home town kid with a huge upside. and Toronto has assets we can use. But let the trade partners come to us with hats in hand.

Expect the worst. No reason to think they're beyond this strategy
