Since both teams are playing tonight -> one of either the Bulls or Mavs HAVE to win. Therefore both teams can not loose their last 2 games. I will laugh really hard if Dallas looses tonight to solidify their spot at #10 (to keep their pick). Then during the lotto, they get jumped by another team, thus slipping to #11 pick and loosing it.
well, you won't be laughing nearly so hard if the team that jumps the Mavs also pushes the Blazers to 6th pick!
We showed our tanking abilities will not be matched last night... don't get me wrong I'm not counting chickens before they hatch but we obviously are very aware of the importance of not winning any more games.
I was wondering if you've ever heard the word tank out of the mouth of a player or coach and if so, have you heard them say something like that this season?
You don't need a numbers geek we're the only team in 5th in the lotto as long as we don't take a W in these last two games. If you want numbers that go with that, we will have a 48.1 percent chance to move into the top 4 and a 10.5% chance to get that number 1 Wemby pick. To get really technical we also have a 10.5% chance for the 2nd pick, for some reason 10.6% for the 3rd pick, 10.5% for the 4th pick, only 2.2% chance to stay at the 5th pick, 19.6% for the 6th pick, 26.7% for the 7th pick (our highest odds of any single pick), 8.7% for 8th and 0.6% for 9th.
Wizards win, but IND somehow loses to DET, and ORL gets blown out by BRK. Both Indy and Orlando's next opponents have locked in Playoff seeding so may rest a lot of guys. Both games are on the road, but it looks like the Knicks and the Heat will have no reason to try to win that final game. Golden State is 1 game up on the Clippers, but if they finish the season tied, they split the season series so goes to Division records where the Clippers will finish ahead. The Clippers vs Suns is at the same time as the Blazers vs Warriors, so they won't know ahead of time like they will with the winner/loser of the IND and ORL games. Looks like they may have to finish 0-2 to get that #5 spot.
When the nuclear option is to yank all of your guards and go with String Bean Butler as your PG, I think we can all agree.
Unseld tried to tank it, but just not hard enough. The players didn't buy in and Wes didn't do enough to counteract it. Fans in D.C. are pissed.
Daniel Gafford, while being great for my ripcitytwo fantasy team, has really driven the tracks off of their tank.
