Just watched Sharpe’s exit interview. He said he’ll be back in Canada with his family and in Arizona to work out. Seems like he’ll be working out with Dame this summer.
Just like Dame said Shaedon is different, I think he'd probably see Wemby as different but even if we take Wemby we can easily have 4 first round picks to trade along with Ant and Nurk to get someone who is a high performing known quantity. Wemby is instantly going to make an impact on whatever team he goes to if he is healthy. He defends the perimeter and can recover to the lane to protect the rim in a way that I've never seen before. Very few people will be able to score in the restricted area if he is in there with them. That being said there is an 89.5% chance that we don't get Wemby and then I do think Dame would want that pick traded in a package to make the team the best it can be next season.
joe can tell dame to kick rocks if he clueless enough to force the team to trade wemby. dame also isn't that dumb.
