Pausing it last night, its clear Sabonis wrapped his arms around Greens leg. Intentional or not, it clearly prevented Draymond from trying to move.
I agree though. Both overblown. Double techs and play on is my opinion.

I dont need glasses to see how hatred snuffs out common sense and facts in todays world. Don't join the cesspool of irrational thought.

Sabonis grabbed his ankle. It could have been to stop himself from getting stepped on. It could have been to just stop him, maybe get him back for sitting on him the last game.

But, what Draymond did was dirty. He didn't have to step on Sabonis. He didn't need to stomp on him. He didn't need to go at it with fans afterwards just to be a dick. He deserved the ejection and he deserves to probably be suspended for that.

There have been so many occasions of guys on the ground grabbing players legs. Middleton did it last week. GP2weeks did it last game TO sabonis. Hell Dame got super upset at Siakam for doing that to him earlier this season.

In no other instance has the offensive player looked down and deliberately stomped on the guy on the ground. The recklessness of that is inexcusable. I want him to get suspended for at leadt one game.

Egging on the entire crowd like that is suspension worthy in my eye. This isn't the damn WWE.

I get it. I will admit to an irrational disdain for Donte Divencenzo.

wow...what a surprise if the Warriors exaggerate an injury and it's impact.

Completely disagree. His hand never grabbed Green's leg. Sabonis was reacting naturally to a fall, trying to protect his face in traffic as a reaction. Green's leg happened to be there, and was more of a reason for Sabonis to cover his face. What was he supposed to do, carefully reach around Green's leg?

The retaliation is always called. Simple as that. Green's reputation caught up to him here.

    I like both players.

I believe the Lakers do have a 1st round pick but Pelicans have a pick swap with them.

Sign Dray, trade for Jimmy, keep Thybulle, you can’t tell me we wouldn’t have the best defense in the league.

"Play on" after a player purposely stomps on another player's chest while the stompee is lying supine on the court, then using the stompee's chest like a springboard to launch himself into the air? Is this sarcasm? Satire? Bizarro World?

Fair point. They should install turnbuckles on the corners of the courts...

No thanks, I don't know if Dray gets away with the constant dirty play in a new environment. Without that advantage I don't think he is an NBA level basketball player. I think all parts of his game have been heading downhill for a couple of seasons now. When you are already one of the least athletic players in the game at your size, the loss of even a quarter of a step really diminishes things.

If we got Jimmy Butler he would be the best player that Dame has played with, so that wouldn't be bad but ideally we get guys who can come in and help Dame right away but are still younger than Dame so they can take on more and more responsibility once Dame's game starts to decline. Ideally we don't want players who will decline while Dame is, we definitely don't want a guy like Dray who is already declining and really can't afford to.
