First three games of the day today went to OT. Road teams have won the first two. Some decent scoring chances on both sides so far here.

They missed a huge opportunity tonight to go up 3-0. Too many missed shots and the PP fizzled.

Here we go again. They’re making a nobody goalie look like a hero. This is the problem with this team instead of winning these games to make a series shorter they let these teams hang around . Difference between a Stanley cup team

Id give Hamilton credit, that was a well placed shot.

Didn't do enough against this goalie. Made life easy on him. Panarin killed them with his shooting. Can't go 0-5 on the PP.

    Typical Rangers

They never make it easy on themselves by putting a hammerlock on the series.

Also absolutely nobody surprised they couldn’t score on a backup goalie.

    Most Ranger game ever

It's like the Rangers bought into everything being said about this goalie. They didn't get in his face or go hard to the net.

You have a guy with zero playoffs experience and up by two. What do you do? You come out and play like it’s a fucking regular season game and throw meatballs at the net.

And I don’t give a shit about Panarin assists. He has not showed up again. I rather move his stupid ass in the off-season and keep Tarasenko

Everyone was looking for the perfect shot. The Rangers outplayed them again but did this to themselves.

Fox shooting the puck and Kreider getting around the net are going to be big trying to finish this series off. Not much of it tonight.

Give the Devs credit, their season was on the line and they played well tonight, not great but a good solid road game. On our side we missed the net a lot, the PP didn't show up, and we passed on some chances where we should have shot. Their kid goalie was better than V, but we didn't really test him either.

This is what the Rangers do. Be it 1-1, which was my thinking, or lose up 2-0 to make it 2-1, this is the way it has to be for the Rangers. They never do it the easy way. Plus the other team steps up their game when they need to win or else.

I expect the Rangers to win game 4, but let's be real, there is just as much chance the Rangers blow a 2-0 lead going home and the series gets tied up 2-2 and the Rangers again have to do it the really hard way. I don't think that would surprise anybody unfortunately.

Win game 4 and all is good, this will be a 5 or 6 game series. Lose game 4 and we do what the Rangers always do, long drawn out series that hurts us down the line. We'll see.

BTW - the winning goal was a S show. Devs go full length of ice and skate around, Rangers lose contact with players in D zone, Hamilton all alone. Piss poor D on that play.
