‘Lesser Evil’ Biden Wants More Border Patrol Than MAGA Republicans

Over the weekend, Biden bragged about his support for even more resources than “MAGA Republicans” to “secure the border” on Twitter.

This is “lesser evilism” in action.

    https://popularresistance.org/lesser-evil-biden-wants-more-border-patrol-than-maga-republicans/

America causes the problems in these migrants countries that bring them to our borders, then refuse to allow them to seek asylum. Clearly showing racism in their border policies in every move that they make, Biden, Trump, whomever is in office. Doesn't matter.

I was hoping he wouldn't run. I think many in the party would prefer he retire and enjoy, as he isn't as sharpe as he used to be. I guess if he's just a figure head and influenced more by those around him, he can go through the motions.

If the choice is Biden vs Mango Mussolini or DeSantos, I'll take Biden.

But Biden running again is just another way for the DNC to fuck something up because they're clueless towards what the party wants.

Tho, the GOP is still worse, as they know what their party wants, but have no idea what the country wants.

agree, if the Party would convey to Joe (which they probably have) that he should retire, so that a younger more candidate could run.
If the American people are presented with two older/declining what a shame.

Biden was not my first choice as the nominee in 2020 but I could not abide another 4 years of Trump's BS...but all things considered, between COVID, the economy, Ukraine, China, etc., I think Biden has done a decent job thus far.

Yeah, he's old (80) but we knew that back in 2020 and ...and if Trump runs and somehow wins, by the end of his term he'd be 82 which is 2 years older than Biden is now.

Sure, age may be an issue to some, but it should not be the only issue.

His staff say he runs them ragged. They have to hustle to keep up with him.

Trump is nearly as old and in terrible shape.

    Rupert Murdoch is over 90.

Unless you are a politician, business owner, preacher, most individuals are retired, or asked to retire by the when you by the time you are in late 80's or younger. Most that aren't, are either, power or money hungry...imo

It's so depressing that our options are an 82 year old guy who seems to just coast....

    Or Trump.

    Or DeSantis.

This is why so many people are apathetic about this country. Our choices are a shit sandwich or a turd pizza with a side of fascism.

Do away with corrupt campaign contributions which only seem to pay for commercials that seldom actually state and point out what a candidate's views/policies are, but instead only tell us how terrible the other guys is. ...(unfortunately, in many cases, the only way a person can make themselves look good based on their own merits, is to try to make someone else look bad)

In that scenario's place, have a series of say 5 government funded TV debates and let us formulate our own opinions/votes based on that.

    ...just spit-balling.

The parties are at an all-time low in influence. They have essentially no control over who runs for President.

If the parties actually had any control, people like Trump and Marianne Williamson and Andrew Yang would never get near a debate stage.

Blaming the parties for the current mess is pointing the finger in the wrong direction.

They aren't. They have no way to force Biden to debate, or not to debate.

Obviously, it isn't time for primary debates now, but if it were, Biden would likely not debate because he doesn't have anyone worthy of debating.
Maybe that will change by this time next year, maybe not.

In the general election, I'd be pretty surprised if Biden refused to debate.

Joe's speech at the Correspondence Dinner was much better than I expected ...he didn't hold back at all and went right after the MTG's and Trump's of the world.
