Does anyone know where the actual lotto will be held this year? Its usually in Secaucus, NJ. But i just realized it was in Chicago last year.
It says here it’s at the Barclays Center. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bulls/2023-nba-draft-lottery-date-how-it-works-odds The 2023 NBA Draft Lottery is slated for Tuesday, May 16 at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets. But here it looks like it’s in Chicago.
It seems like the lotto will be held in Chicago again this year. Probably at the same hotel that is hosting the NBA combine around the same time. So much for my Secaucus plans.

Portland is now slotted to have (2nd best if Charlotte, Atlanta and Brooklyn) the #43 pick, which in Tankathon, has the Blazers selecting 7'4", 290 lb Zach Edey. He is a beast, but doesn't seem quick enough for today's NBA game. Put up 25/14 with 2.4 blocks last year in his Junior season.
Yeah, Zach Edey is collegiately productive and is a fun story to root for, but I wouldn't be shocked if he even goes undrafted. I see a Boban-like career at best for him, in which in the right, weird game, he'll actually put up numbers that make the casual fan think he is actually a decent role player. But in reality, on most nights he is a MAJOR defensive liability and unplayable.
