    I have friends that work at KOIN. They say during March Madness people used to freak out and call nonstop complaining that their soaps aren’t on but basketball is! Said that was the only complaints they ever received.

    We've preempted programming at various times for local sporting events, mainly HS football and the calls the station gets are hilarious with people MAD about missing out on reruns of crap shows like Grays Anatomy.

    Loud minority should not be more representative of the general populous than the silent majority. Besides, you can stream most network TV shows on their apps for free with fewer ads than you get on regular TV.
