Game 5 Devils vs. Rangers

You can bet the Devils want no part of a gm7 so there's going to be no let up in them.

 

Drury was clueless this year. He looks like a bumbling idiot right now.

 

The funny thing about it, and please say it out loud, you fired JD to make Drury the Pres and GM - come on now. I don't know how anyone could spin that as a step up for us, or a good move.

And love him or hate him, Gorton added a bunch of talent to the team, and made some great trades. What was the knock, oh he didn't add toughness. First I think that is a BS knock given where we were in our reboot/retool cycle, and second I 100% believe as they were finishing things off they would have added the playoff grit and sandpaper guys you need to win. Never got the shot because Dolan said yeah, Drury is a better Pres/GM than JD...okay.

 

Gorton was atrocious with his euro pussies. Gonna give Drury another year to get it right.

 

Embarrassing loss, maybe having no Captain made a difference last year but it's difficult to point the finger at one player, too many have been awful. I would hope for better effort at the Garden.
