They should do the trumpets for the G-League team.* They need to do whatever they can to make it a fun atmosphere. *Edit: In the arena
Root Sports Blazers is absolutely pathetic. They probably skipped about 100 possessions this season to triple replay a Blazers bucket, or show some stupid Twitter/Jez nubbleflub. You'd hear the crowd in the background, something important happened, but Blazer fans watching TV missed it. Screen resolution is running less then 480. I'd get clearer picture of the Blazers on channel 8 with a crummy antenna under a grove of trees. The final straw of my angst towards Root, is Seattle putting the Blazers on Root Sports Plus. Many Oregonians simply cannot get the RS2 channel.
I always hate when the ball is inbounds and we're watching something other than the game. Player smiling, coach or guy on the bench, fans, replay, etc. Now in 1994 it was fine, teams grinded it out slow and would take 10 second every play to start action. Now you have teams scoring 140 points and pushing the ball relentlessly. If the game is going on, I want to watch the freaking game.
Honestly, towards the end of the season, I appreciated seeing one of Sharpe's dunk in 4 different angles instead of watching the Blazers getting blown out.
That’s just it. NOBODY streams stuff. We hear on the internet do. That’s it. The percentage of the population who actually steam shit is very small.
How many people you know in your life that DONT have at least one of Netflix/Prime/Hulu/Disney+/Hbomax?
Correct me if im wrong, but i always thought of streaming as live streaming direct on the net. Not saved files, much the same as reruns on tv? Ive never thought of Netflix or Disney as streaming, because its a catalog of files to access. Not something im tuning in to stream live?
Oh, I was talking about live streaming sporting events. Our generation does it, and our kids, but that’s like 1/4 of the people out there, if that.
My 76 year old dad streams stuff and most all of my friends do for majority of their TV so I'd say no to this. There might be a large group of people who don't stream and only watch broadcast though, and yeah those are probably the type of people who dial up a TV channel to complain. But streaming is not very small today at all.
Ok, maybe we have different definitions. I consider any internet derived media content on a TV streaming. Basically anything that is not broadcast/cableTV/satellite/physical medium/DVD/Bluray..... Everything else I considered streaming. So Netflix/Disney/etc is all streaming.
Well thats a bit of a chicken or the egg thing as theres shit availability of live streaming sporting events.
We were talking about people complaining of whats on broadcast network TV and not being able to watch live Grey Anatomy reruns. In that context streaming includes netflix/Amazon/hulu/HBO/Disney/etc
