Hopefully, they got it out of their system in the first period. NJ not scoring was huge. They carried much of the play.

That was incredible...they must replay that. Was it Hughes? I thought it was at first but wasn't sure.

Just a bunch of lazy east west plays once again. Gallant better rip into them to go north south. This horse shit of drop passing and lazy east west passes isn’t going to get it done.

That was a no show sh*t show of a period - funny that a team no shows a game 7.

Panarin and Kane can both leave on the first train out of town if we lose. I hope they wake up and do something, but both of these guys and their fancy a**, east-west, cross ice, refuse to shoot play can go. Drop pass by Panarin to no one - breakaway Hughes. Kane weak clearing effort, golden chance by NJ. Crazy with these two.

And Fox's absolute refusal to shoot kills us - imagine if he looked to shoot more, the PP would be lethal. And it isn't even he just won't shoot, he doesn't even look at the net to pretend he may shoot. I just don't understand how a coach continues to allow it. Put Miller or Trouba on the PP, cannot be worse than a guy who won't even look at the net.

We are so lucky it is 0-0, thank you Igor, but it will not matter at all if the Rangers don't play MUCH better. Eventually the Devs will score, and it will be game over.

Yeah, they didn't maintain any possession in the offensive zone outside of some PP time and a couple shifts. Devils control the puck and closed on the forecheck way better than the Rangers.

Understatement of the year - they turned it over just about every time they tried to leave the zone, almost 100%.

Pretty straight forward now - either show up and play with some passion, 3rd time in 4 games I have written that, or the summer starts in 2 hours +/-.

Another area they need to improve is the physicality...finish checks.

Miller with Tara, Z, Kreider, and Panarin I would try it. Fox's refusual to shoot kills us. And again, he doesn't even look at the net, which is even worse. Look at that period, he literally skated down the slot no one near him, and didn't even look at the net, and then passed to the corner - come on.

And I blame the coach just as much. At some point you have to be like Adam - SHOOT THE F'ING PUCK!!!

I seem to recall a post or two from people on here complaining about how Miller turns the puck over a lot....and now they should put him on the PP1? Again, I'll take Fox, at least he can control and move the puck with some accuracy and reliability.

    1. Not me.
    2. I am not worried about him turning the puck over on the PP. I do want someone who is not allergic to shooting though.

    Big period...let's go.

Not sure what the fuck Laf was doing there behind the goal. If he stops above the goal line it’s an easy tap in for him.
