I've been using a laptop for a couple years now, a Dell Inspiron 1150, it's never very tempermental, I love the thing. I use it for DLing music, talking to people on AIM, going on the internet and doing hw, it never really gives me much a problem. It's within ur price range, I'd go with something like this if all you're doing the same kinda stuff that I'm doing on your computer. If you're into gaming, that's a different story

Yeah, hope someone can get me a link if u can, i want one where i can at least have Limewire, Adobe Photoshop 9.0, Macromedia Flash 8, Microsoft Front Page and a DVD Burner with it. I like making stuff with those programs because Gateway sucks. I hear Dell graphics are amazing because on Gateway they are very dark, thats probably why my gfx are meh. Hope you guys understand what i want.
