<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Former Washington linebacker LaVar Arrington met Friday with the Dolphins, agent Carl Poston said."They had expressed an interest and Miami is a great place to live and play football," Poston said. "I think they need a linebacker, especially since they released Junior (Seau). That's all I know so far."Arrington recently bought his way out of his contract with the Redskins for $4.4 million to gain his release and become a free agent. Arrington's relationship with the Redskins had been strained for some time, which is believed a major reason why his playing time was limited by coach Joe Gibbs in 2005.Arrington, 27, was a Pro Bowl selection from 2001 to 2003. At 6-3 and 255 pounds, Arrington would potentially be a nice fit at outside linebacker in the Dolphins' 3-4 defensive scheme.</div>The Dolphins are trying to score big this offseason.

Arrington on the Dolphs, I wouldn't mind seeing that at all. He wouldn't have to fill any big shoes either with Seau leaving cuz I'd say he's much better than Seau ever was. Having LaVar is awesome cuz he can do it all on defense from any linebacker position or on either end of the defensive line. Getting LaVar would be scoring BIG for the Dolphins. I think they need someone like him with Seau gone, Jason Taylor/Zach Thomas both gettin pretty damn old themselves. They need a younger, yet experienced, explosive player to add to the pack.

If they get him and try to get Brees they will be good.

Hopefully Saban lights a fire under him. The reason he got cut from the Skins was because he didn't play within the scheme and free lanced. He's got a ton of talent, and Saban seems to be a coach who gets the most out of his players so this could work out great for the Phins.

Anyways I would love to have Lavar here he is awesome and he is a great leader. One question though did he play MLB at WAS or OLB?
