Browns | Team agrees to terms with T. WashingtonSun, 12 Mar 2006 10:08:10 -0800Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Cleveland Browns have reached a contract agreement with free agent DT Ted Washington (Raiders). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Browns are really trying to be better this upcoming season. I cant wait to see there plans for the draft. Ted is old though but he has at least 2 years left in him.
I expect us to draft another nose tackle in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round to learn.Or hopefully Kelly Gregg is avaliable next year in free agency.
Man, the Browns are going all out this offseason...another target I wanted the Jets to go after gone.
That's a good signing. Now we have a starting Nose Tackle Fisk who? Bye Bye Fisk.. Washington is awesome. He'll anchor the line a good year or two. This year hopefully we draft Oshinowo or someone like that in the mid rounds to rotate in at nose tackle.
Don't get your hopes up because you need to have team chemistry and hes 38 years old so he may only have 2-3 years in left of him

Washington is an immediate improvement over Fisk. Savage will draft a nose tackle this year (I"m hoping it'll be Oshinowo) to rotate in every once in a while and gradually gain more playing time and eventually start by the time Washington retires.
