A lot of teams with a lot of cap room don't seem to be doing anything really, it's kind of strange.

We've had several people into NY for visits and all, but havent signed anybody yet....I wouldnt expect us to go out there and sign any blue chip free agents, but I think we will see some role players come in. We've had people like Jon Kitna, Patrick Ramsey, Sage Rosenfels(Signed with HOU), Brad Hopkins, Tom Ashworth, Dan Campbell, Monstato Pope, Ted Washington(Signed with CLE), and a few others who have come in and out of New York, and I expect us to sign a few guys who will be role players, but no real big names.

Abraham is seeking a long-term deal with a club which will in turn work out a trade with the Jets for the three-time Pro Bowler. As first reported in The Star-Ledger, Kitna, 33, is atop the Jets' wish list as the player to compete with Chad Pennington for the starting job. Kitna's agent, Mike Moye, confirmed yesterday that Kitna visited the Lions on Saturday and was en route to New York.Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey, 27, appears to be the Jets' fall-back candidate. Ramsey worked out for the Jets on Wednesday.Von Oelhoffen, 35, spent the past six seasons with the Super Bowl champion Steelers. A former nose tackle, the 6-4, 300-pounder had 35 tackles and three sacks last season. Von Oelhoffen has played 12 NFL seasons.</div>
