<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Ravens agreed in principle Sunday night on a four-year deal with Mike Anderson, who expects to take over for Jamal Lewis as the team's starting running back. The total worth of the deal is believed to be $8 million with a $2 million signing bonus.Anderson, 32, gained 1,014 yards rushing and scored 12 touchdowns last season for the Denver Broncos.Anderson beat Jamal Lewis for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2000, when he gained 1,487 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. Anderson's numbers declined from 2001 to 2003, when he averaged 440 yards. He was sidelined for the entire 2004 season because of a groin injury.</div>http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/footbal...ports-headlinesI figured this was gonna happen. I hope he's not another "I only perform in the Denver system" back. Overally pretty good pickup. The Ravens know not to overspend on every player.
Damn, i personal think he's overrated but im hoping the Ravens can draft a RB in the draft because Anderson is getting old

Atleast we have an RB that can punch it in when it's time for goal line runs. Now all we need to do is draft DeAngelo Williams.

My guess is that you get your wish there and either Williams or White are drafted by you guys.

It's either DeAngelo Williams or Maroney or we're going to go a different direction and take a DT/CB in the first round.
It would be awesome if Anderson played FB in front of Jamal. You think Mike is a good enough blocker to play FB?
