<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Just as many people expected, the Eagles' first significant move of the free-agent season was signing a player away from the New Orleans Saints. No, they didn't get center LeCharles Bentley, but a league source said that veteran defensive end Darren Howard agreed to a six-year deal with the Eagles late last night after spending the day in Philadelphia. http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/14085012.htm</div>Damn this would be good because Eagles need some help with their d-line. I expected them to go after a wide receiver but this would be a great move as well.

I don't know much about Howard but from the sounds of it he and Kearse could make a good pair of pass rushers, moreso than Kearse would with Kalu.
