?

What are you hoping for with this pick?

  1. Draft Scoot and keep him

    27.6%
  2. Draft Miller and keep him

    28.6%
  3. Draft someone else at 3 and keep him (please specify)

    3.1%
  4. Trade down, but still draft in the lottery

    10.2%
  5. Trade the pick for a starting forward

    30.6%

Celtics would be really stupid to break up the Brown/Tatum pairing. In 6 yrs together, they have lost in the confernce finals 4 times and in the finals once.

They simply need to tweak the role players and maybe add experience to the coaching staff.

But if they're dumb enough to let Jaylen go, we should put Ant and 3 on the table without hesitation.

Maybe having Mike Schmidtz on board will help with that. Getting good undrafted guys.

He's a FA. If he wants out well...what can they do?

Hes an FA after next year.

They can pay him his market value and convince him to stay.

    Right. One more year.

He could pull a Paul George.

Sure but the rumors are that it is Brown who wants to break it up......not the Celtics.

We have a start with the RFA rights Thybull but that’s only one of at least four bench positions we have filled solidly. Some feel that Trendon can do it at the 4. If that were true we would need a big and a PG acquired by two of three means. TPMLE, GP2 TPE plus future picks and/or the 43rd pick in the draft.

I think some in here are comfortable with drafting an upperclassman PG at 43 and see who wins the rotational spot between pick 43 and Mays. That would just leave us a legit backup big short… and no Drewbanks doesn’t count because he’s a great third string/end of the bench big.

19 points on 23 shots with 8 turnovers deserves a little shredding

but it couldn't happen to a more deserving fanbase

I really wonder how many of these playoff games have been won by the teams who have done better shooting the three. Seems like most of them

Hope is alive. I know part of us thinks why would we want him based on that game, but we really needed him to have that poor game.

Shoutouts to Torey for his video earlier. The tradedown I like most:

#6, #11, WCJ, and Bol for #3, Nas, and Keon.

Nurk/WCJ/Bol locks up your C position. I’d be at a point where I’d say it’s no longer a concern. At #6, Ausar has a solid chance of being available. #11, draft BPA. Trade #23 to get our 1st back.

    Dame/Ant/Mays
    Ant/Sharpe/Thybulle
    ____/Ausar/Thybulle
    Grant/Watford/Bol/Walker
    Nurk/WCJ/Bol

With a decent MLE at SF, I think the starting lineup can get us into the playoffs. WCJ just turned 24 and is already a productive C, 15.2/8.7/2.3 and on a bargain of a contract for the next 3 seasons if he keeps getting better. If WCJ, Sharpe, or Ausar play well enough consistently, Ant + Nurk for multiple future 1sts should be able to being someone good in return.

I think Boston could use Nurk.
    #3, Nurk-Simons for Brown-Robert Williams

If they are in on Scoot and he's there at #3 would be the rationale imo

Personally, that deal doesn't do much for me, especially if Ausar is gone.

to think he will leave ~50 mil on the table and an extra year guaranteed by leaving boston is a stretch

Let's make it real loud. Lower that value as much as possible. Ant and #23 for Brown!

As long as he shows up in the playoffs I'm good with it.

I wouldn't trade Nurk unless we're getting a better center to replace him.
