    Unbelievable terrorist attack by Putin and Russia

    except it is believable that they would do some stupid and cruel shit like blowing up the dam. Which is why the world needed to step in and end this war before those dumbasses did this

    Ukraine's counteroffensive struggling a little bit. Have made some small gains but taking losses. two of their new Leopard tanks and 10 Bradley fighting vehicles; they seem to have decided to attack with smaller groups on many fronts, not sure if that is how i would have done it, On the positive side, russians taking heavy losses, over 1000 soldiers yesterday compared to a recent daily average of about 600. The Ukrainian advances are drawing a lot of russian artillery fire which exposes their positions and russia has very high losses of artillery pieces and MLRS.

    Ah, fallen to the second page.
    As you probably know, Ukraine is now on the offensive, advancing slightly on several different fronts in the center and south of there. Although they have retaken a handful of settlements, they seem to still be several miles from the main russian defensive lines. They lost about 15 Bradley fighting vehicles and several of the best Leopard German tanks they had been given. Also lost three (of only six that they have) heavy mine clearing machines. Some mistakes were made and hopefully they have learned from them. Ukrainian spokesperson claims they are inflicting five times the losses on russia soldiers as what they are losing themselves. I hope that is close to accurate.
    Here is a video of a russian guy surrendering to a drone. The landscape is stark and chilling and you can feel the terror of fleeing from a drone overhead. This guy was running a liquor store at home and was drafted with the promise he would never be in a combat zone.

    You can see he is worried that he will be executed if he surrenders; this is what they are all told will happen. In a fuller account it's revealed that his two buddies, who are wounded. actually kill themselves, one with a grenade and one with his rifle. This guy decides he wants to live.

    Biden and USA have done a hell of a lot for Ukraine's military (although of course the Baltic countries and Poland have done much more as a percent of their GDP). And if someone else had been elected president, it would surely have been a disaster for Ukraine.
    But really, the piecemeal, one further step at a time of providing arms gave russia time to re-mobilize and set up strong defensive lines. Both russians and Ukrainians are dying needlessly because of this reluctance to give Ukraine the best weapons available. (not just USA, but even countries like Poland don't provide their best tanks). Also, even though the European parliament voted almost unanimously to provide Ukraine a certain and swift entry into NATO (after the war is over), Biden again is being very cautious and reluctant. He doesn't seem to realize, that in the real world, Ukraine is already the strongest member of NATO, they are the ones holding russia back from incursions into NATO countries.
    Kurt Volker, U.S. Ambassador to NATO in 2008-2009 and former U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, says USA needs to give immediately fighter planes, long range rockets and more armored vehicles. Did you know that there are about 2000 Bradley fighting vehicles just sitting in storage? Why be so stingy with these?

    Great video, and thanks for sharing.

    That's one of the many differences between Zelensky & Putin & their forces...if the roles had been reversed and it had been a Ukrainian soldier vs a Russian drone, what do you think his chances of survival would have been?

    Biden seems to have, just yesterday, become more amenable to Ukraine joining NATO after the war, saying they can skip the "map".

    Indications lately that this will be a long and difficult offensive by Ukraine:
    1. Their defense minister warns: "Expectations for blitzkrieg progress are based on Ukraine’s successful operations to liberate Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts, but the weather, terrain, and conditions are totally different now"
    2. A report by The London-based Royal United Services Institute reminds that Ukraine faces a very formidable foe that has over the course of the war refined the use of tanks, artillery and electronic warfare to make them all more effective. Their air defense is more effective now: "Alongside the successful interception of most high-speed anti-radiation missiles (HARMs) fired by Ukrainian aircraft, the Russian air defense network now intercepts a significant number of GMLRS munitions. "
    3, Reports that russia has launched their own offensive in the north, west of Kremmina, and made some advances.

    True, but the ones that were shot didn't seem very well trained at all.

    Listening to Prigozhin makes me more optimistic than listening to Ukrainian reports;

    Should Ukraine make a big push right now whilst the Russian forces are destabilised?
