it's probably better than what the Blazers can actually get, but maybe... as I said, I would try to immediately re-route Harris and Dinwiddie to other teams, even if the return was only a passel of 2nd round picks. They'd have good value approaching the trade deadline too
Yeah it’d allow you to focus #23 (and #21 or #22?) on PF/SF dart throws if you’re losing Grant to free agency (though would prefer a S&T and allow another team to rent our cap for picks).
Ben has back issues. That thing could flare up, the Blazers would have to put him on the IR, then give all the young guys "extended experience" while wrestling with the cellar dwellars for another top 5 pick.
Every trade from the Nets should first include Nic Claxton. A terrific rim protector with a very high fg% on offense. Would be a terrific solution for us at Center
From a PR perspective a team needs one player that serves as the physical reminder that things are going to be ok. A bunch of future picks won’t do the trick—not completely anyway.
I’m in the minority I’d take Ben Simmons in trade but I’d make them throw in extra 1st rounder (only top3 protected) to take the salary off their hands. If big IF Simmons back is better he’d be fun to watch with Sharpe, scoot or Miller. Trade Ant if we get Scoot if not keep him. I’m also in the minority because Id trade Ant and Nurk for Ayton. That would be a fun young athletic team with lots of guys with huge upside.
"There’s a pathway for Miami Heat to land both Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal" https://heatnation.com/rumors/there...to-land-both-damian-lillard-and-bradley-beal/ Wow I just looked at the salaries and I was surprised this is actually possible. I don't know how they would get the picks to appease both teams. Beal does have a no trade clause though. WSH Herro & Robinson... picks? PDX Lowry, Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmart..... how many picks? Miami would have Dame Beal Butler Adebayo Caleb Martin resign Max Strus resign Gabe Vincent
Why stop there? Add Tatum and Embiid too. F-ing idiots in the media. Whoever Barry Jackson is needs to get out of his fantasy world and a dose of reality.
