<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Free agent running back Michael Bennett identified the Panthers as one of the teams that has expressed interest in his services, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. The Dolphins and Colts have also inquired about the former Viking. As we noted last week, the Panthers considered selecting Bennett instead of linebacker Dan Morgan with their first-round pick in the 2001 draft. Don't be surprised if they attempt to sign him to play a backup role to the oft-injured DeShaun Foster.http://www.fanball.com/fb/teamProfile.cfm?team=CAR</div>That would be something if they get him, maybe have both spilt carries so Foster doesn't get hurt
