    Whitsitt's team of mercenaries made it to the finals zero times.

    Draft pick Jermaine O'Neal, who was traded away to "WIN NOW" , went on to become a 6-time All Star.

    The Drexler Blazers traded away draft pick Drazen Petrovic for nothing in return, to WIN NOW.

    Exactly. That team had made it's run. Best team might have been 1991 that didn't make it to the Finals. That team would have run all over the Pacers.
    This team has never been anywhere close to that teams level. Drexler had risen to a level as high as #2 in the MVP voting behind the Goat and was a dominant force in more than just scoring.

    I wasn't happy with what we got in return, but was happy he got a chance to win a ring.

    IMO...it's the Wizards leaking distortions and bullshit

    it likely went something like the Wizards calling Cronin and asking if he'd consider trading 3 for KP. Cronin semi-politely declines...immediately, while lol-ing. Then the Wizards leak to a gullible tweeter/blogger that there have been discussions of KP for #3. And the gullible dutifully puts the BS out there

    all this bullshit speculation, leaks, and rumors are only going to increase, and get more ridiculous the closer draft day comes. Be best advised to not believe anything until it's actually announced by teams as a pick or a trade
