<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Kansas City Chiefs signed RB Quentin Griffin Friday, giving RB Larry Johnson a veteran backup if RB Priest Holmes decides to retire. The Chiefs also announced a one-year contract with TE Kendall Gammon.http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=nfl&id=2373038</div>Nice... Griffin isnt that bad, dunno why they didn't start him in Denver because he actually played alright
I like this signing for KC, good decent backup, but I sure hope this isn't an indication that Priest is retiring...

Herm loves the veteran players and will do anything to keep them around, even if there not effective.Griffin will make a good 3rd RB, but thats about it, if I remember correctly he has a bit of fumbleitis.
Yea, I really hope that we can hold on to Priest, we actually had a better record when it was Priest and Larry than when it was just LJ.
