This is where my mind is at

If Miller is who's there at 3, keep him.

If Scoot, trade the pick for Zion if on the table or whatever the best trade package from the multiple teams who wants him.

This is probably the right mindset but we don't know what teams out there are offering for Miller. If it's the right type of win now player then I think we take that.

I'm not opposed to trading Miller either, for the right return. My comment was based in Scoot getting all the interest and not Miller. But sure, maybe teams who like Miller are just quiet and makes us an offer we can't refuse (assuming he's who is there at 3) . . . I won't be mad. . Mikal&Clax, Pascal&OG??

I have a feeling Charlotte is going to take Scoot before us so they can trade him for Zion.

He's a North Carolina guy so I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing when hoping he'll turn his career around. That also might be a smoke screen that the Hornets are trying with us because they want to extract value from us to trade up. Hard to tell up from down these few days leading up to the draft when you're in such an important and perilous place like our team is.

Or whatever else is out there. They seem just as intent on trading out as we do.

I know that's what it sounds like right now but I said this the other day. When everything we heard was that they wanted Brandon Miller until four days before the draft... it just seems like they'll take Miller but right now they are trying to create chaos to see if they can squeeze Miller and something else out of us. Or they just really didn't like the guy when they met him. I guess we'll see.

I would not call it intent...I'd call it interest

It’s absolutely insane that it seems 4 out of the top 5 picks are in play and it’s not a bad draft.

'Tis the season... every pick is available:
    a. for the right price
    b. when it's the easiest and least committal thing to insert into the news cycle to hide your draft intentions
    c. when there's value to be leveraged
    d. when GMs (hopefully NOT like Cronin) can get desperate and do some crazy things at the 11th hour...

I'm going to guess 4 out of the top 5 teams keep their pick when it's all said and done.

    I agree. I'd pick 5 (100%) teams over 3 (60%). However, I'd pick 4 (80%) teams over 5 (100%).

    You?
