That sucks. Why is Portland always the poor step-sister of NBA trades? Other teams get stars, we get leftovers.

Billups told us Bledsoe can guard LeBron James. Cronin was excited to add a tough veteran guard to the Blazers. Then Jody Allen bought out Eric's contract before he was given a Blazers jersey.

Until I see actual players on the court, I reserve any excitement from what this Front Office tells us.

As long as it's a good front court player, I'll be happy. I'm looking down the salary list on hoops hype and thinking Jarrett Allen would be a nice get. If it's Terry Rozier I will be very sad.

Oubre Jr. , good buddies with Dame. The local media has already puffed him up as an all around terrific player, a move the needle addition, the coveted SF of this new era. We don't have to trade Anfernee or anything, maybe Nassir and the #23 + change

    Is #3 going out?

If not I'm probably ok with it

If it is I'm expecting I'll be furious

IF this rumor is true that your alluding too sounds like something to appease Dame but not mortgage the future either so sounds like a Siakam , DeMar type of player to me. I am guessing they are going to try still for a homerun but content doing this type of move and hopefully keep Dame content and in Portland.

to the person who said Ayton -- Suns insider said the Blazers are not even interested in him anymore after that bad contract he signed.

    ???

    Hints so far have been:
    - older player (Ayton is 24)
    - not a player we've kicked around in this cycle (he's been discussed extensively)
    - not a needle-mover (argue this one if you want but he was still a key contributor on a championship-caliber team and was the first pick of the draft just a couple years ago...)

DeMar I'm good with unless we give them 3 or something.

    Ayton might feel similar.

I probably wouldn't acquire either if I were GM but they shouldn't cost too much.

You're aiming way too high. If it's not a needle mover to the guy banging the "trade Dame" drum the loudest, it's not going to be an All-NBA level talent... Think 7th or 8th man...

Without looking at his contract situation, I'll guess Terrance Ross for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than he's older, local, and seemingly constantly available...
