    The one piece of the AD theory that would absolutely give me pause is the thought of Scoot not just blowing up into an all star player but doing so - on the Lakers. To have to watch that for a dozen years would make me ill.

    Both MM and TB have suggested that these ones aren't dead...

    I was simply flagging the "see how it plays out" bit suggests that the addition is probably not besties with Dame...

    I agree that part makes it much more unlikely. I was just thinking it through. Unless the LeBron to Dallas rumors have any shred of truth...

    The rumor I read was Adebayo for #3, Sharpe & Simons.

    If that is the case, serious overpay and I would be utterly pissed giving up Sharpe. Simons & 3, maybe but Sharpe, no way. That is selling the future for a minute chance in the present.
