We've been going at it for weeks, but I have a good feeling the Blazers are going to come out of tomorrow night with a future superstar with the third pick and that by the time they open camp we're also going to have Paul George or Zion Williamson and an appeased Dame on the roster.

We should be excited for the draft and this offseason.

Let it be noted that this thread be reserved for mindless positivity and enthusiasm, and, in that spirit, it doesn't even have to just be solely about the Blazers being a force in the West next season and for years to come.

I know you said mindless but are you saying we could get Scoot and Zion and Dame stays?

    I am.

I think Dame's been great to this organization and I think his loyalty is going to pay off in good karma and it's going to happen over the next few weeks, starting with the draft.

I think we're going to take advantage of some bargains in the trade market for whatever reason, and it's going to enable us to upgrade the roster without relinquishing the third pick.

I’m super excited for tomorrow and am hopeful for the future regardless if it’s the Scoot or Dame path. I just hope we don’t screw it up royally.

Don't personally see how we can get someone like Zion without dealing the 3rd pick, but I appreciate the positivity never the less.

I honestly think there are only three ways we can royally screw it up. Taking too little for Scoot, taking too little for Dame or despite what I'm assuming are very few in here think, trying to pair Dame and Scoot.

shortly after the botched trade deadline, Blazer fans were told to think big. Giannis, Embiid, Bam, Jimmy, Jaylen etc. Some of the biggest & best NBA player names began rolling of the tongue throughout the Oregon sports media outlets.

I was busy watching the Blazers young team getting munched by much stronger opponents the weeks before and after the trade deadline.

This Blazers team needs muscle, they need hustle. The Blazers need a better head Coach. Fixing all of this by trading Ant and a draft pick still seems preposterous.

Luckily Portland has one thing nobody else has.
Damian Lillard is one of the best players in the NBA.
Building up a great team around him is still very possible. The Blazers new GM stated this was the goal, and it WILL HAPPEN this season.

    Hold on to your hats,
the superstars are lining up to be Blazers.

Our future is so much brighter due to drafting at #3 instead of where we were initially slotted. I'm really hopeful for the first time in ages.

Actually 1.5 years. Firing that fake tan GM Neil Olshey, had Blazer fans jumping for joy.

I am looking at the positive. Even if we do not make any trades and have Scoot and Lillard after the draft, I will be happy.

It would definitely be a challenge on defense, but Lillard at the off guard would be more fun to watch with Scoot compared to him next to CJ or Ant. It could also be interesting enough for Grant to re up. Then pry Turner away from Indiana for Nurk.

That is one direction we could go. Think no matter the choice, we end up in a better situation after today.

Could not be more excited to watch the development of Scoot/Miller and Sharpe over the next three years, and if it turns into Dame/Miller/Sharpe/Grant, it's like Christmas. I believe Dame said something about it being the journey and not the destination.

a very positive aspect currently, is the Wizards have gone supernova blow things up. DC's best players will be 3rd string Lakers bench fodder. Chalk up 2 easy victories for the Blazers next season !!
