?

What are you hoping for with this pick?

  1. Draft Scoot and keep him

    27.6%
  2. Draft Miller and keep him

    28.6%
  3. Draft someone else at 3 and keep him (please specify)

    3.1%
  4. Trade down, but still draft in the lottery

    10.2%
  5. Trade the pick for a starting forward

    30.6%

That's a weird way of saying "please balance the roster, Joe" :D

The fact that 2nd and 3rd picks are flip flopping so frequently, it means the value of 2nd is just as much as 3rd. We are approaching this draft from a position of strength.

Again...... that is why you start Sharpe at SG. And you trade Ant, and Nurk and/or Little and picks for a forward.
That way we get better and we keep a potential star. If you don' think Scoot is any good then that is a different conversation.
Of course, I would still move him for Zion

I believe we keeping the 3 nobody going give us what we need for that pick but I see 23rd being in play tomorrow for a quality vet that's where I would look if there a trade tomorrow.

    Is this crazy?

    upload_2023-6-21_14-4-16.png

I mean, we know the Nets don't want 3 for Bridges...but maybe they'd want Zion instead, especially if they can offload Simmons.
Pels get Scoot, and get a shot at a different 1/1 reclamation project.
Blazers get the solid starting lineup Dame wants.

Yeah it's a crazy overpay for those two. JV is barely an upgrade and Bridges is not worth anything close to pick three. Also if we're doing a pick 3 for Bridges package I want Claxton and I think we should also get picks 21 and 22... they'd have to pick one of those for us because of that Stepien bastard but still that might not even be enough. I might be OK with...
    upload_2023-6-21_14-27-16.png

I'd then try to trade all of those pick in the early 20s and Ant for some really good bench players. But I don't think the Nets are going to trade with us after Dame said that he'd be cool playing for them. I don't think most teams in the league will hold out on us trying to force us to trade Dame but I don't think we're getting shit from Brooklyn or Miami.

its possible that we trade #3 and then when things dont work, dame lillard requests a trade, then we lose both #3 and dame lillard

im not saying thats exactly what would happen, but its a very scary possibility

This could go either way. He could pass up on Miller to make him pay. Or he could draft him so he can kick his ass in practice. Every. Single. Day.

Read on a Pels forum that hyper-religious owner of the team is more inclined to let Zion go because of his off court "interludes".

The kinkier the better, I say.. Look how much the bulls won in the 90's with Rodman on the team. You know that guy was a freak.

I think I saw that he'll still be a minority owner...

Heck, the way he holds grudges maybe he'll make this a condition of the sale?
