Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. Lienart can put up a lot of yards, Young can put up a lot of points and Cutler can do both.
Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. Theres not really enough data to judge Leinart here, but I think its fair to say that Cutler can play against top Defenses and that Vince Young cant run against top defenses.
Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. Yeah 2.7 YPC is pretty week shit from Young.. Cutler is definitely a standout here... 240.75 YPG isn't bad vs. Top D's, but those INT's aren't very impressive, but hey--they are top defenses for a reason.

If Young threw 140 passes in those numbers he would likely have 4 INT's himself, same with Leinart.

With 40% less attempts, he had more TDs and almost as many yards as Cutler. As for Leinart, one game really isn't enough to tell.

Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. Leinart's getting more credit than he really deserves. I'm not trying to sound like a critic here, but most of the time, he's lucky. And look at the offense that he's got under his control!

Not that Texas' receivers were all-americans, but yeah.
Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. It doesn't really matter because it wont make much of a differences in the NFL because College is so differtant than the NFL.
Re: Top QB's Vs. Top 20 Defenses. Well I guess seeing how well they did against top D's gives you a little better of an idea of how they will adjust to an NFL defense.
