I know I just get tired of people talking about the "haul of picks" or the "godfather" package Portland will get from trading Dame. It's not going to happen my fear is that, if Dame asks out, Portland will still try and be competitive. That would be the worst outcome. It would just be back to the maybe-play-in-maybe-late-in-the-lottery purgatory they were in for so much of the Olshey era. Nothing like picks in the 13-19 range to load up on low level role players

Hold up..... wait a minute....... are you legitimately going to feed me a win/loss record for when we were ACTIVELY trying to lose games? I mean... I know we all thought that putting John Butler Jr at point guard was a winning move that sadly didn't work out, but I know you're better than this. We BEAT teams that were trying to win, and we were BEATING teams that were trying to win. Memphis? Minnesota? Clippers? Even Paul George was impressed with Sharpe during that LAC game.
oh hell no. he's not talking about CBA as an excuse for not going for it. We aren't close to the second apron you jackass.
It's a valid argument in the current CBA. Star quality players on rookie scale contracts. Extremely valuable. NBA is turning into the NFL. A rookie scale QB can give you a window to win a ring.
What is with you people and complaining about every single GM this team has had? I get it, every fan base has to bitch and complain about management on twitter and in forums, but seriously. Sorry, I guess it's the society we live in now where we get to take shots at others when they have no idea what it takes.
