Love Dame but is scoring your benchmark? Dame is a great scorer but as a 2-way player yuck. He also can be a ball stopper and does not like to run the break, we need some guys that can play both ways
Lmao, you guys are hella funny man. I’ll save this thread and come back to it in a couple years, some of you guys are the worst with the overtop hype.
How so? I totally agree with the OP. I mean we are coming into Summer League this year as the defending champions. We had an awesome draft yesterday. We definitely have a championship foundation.
My draft day wish in order Draft, keep Miller Trade 3 for Zion, Mikal Draft, keep Amen Draft, keep Scoot is my 4th best scenario but weirdly I'm not disappointed but rather optimistic somehow
How about we see some flashes of it first? How about Scoot steps on the court for a NBA game first against NBA competition? How about we see how him and Simons/Sharpe look together? How about we look to see how Scoot's poor outside shooting does in the NBA when teams sag off him? There is lots to see first, before someone can go and claim championship foundation. Over the top exceptions from fan bases are toxic when things aren't meeting their high exceptions, they look for scapegoats and start to moan and groan and that's the Blazers fan base in a nutshell. Plus, the guy who made this thread is a former writer lol...he wants us to trade Dame and also Ant, saying Ant most go. Basically getting people to rally around his thoughts because that's what he does on this forum 24/7.
You have 273 posts on this forum since 2008......... how many of those are you hating on me? Hilariously pathetic.
If these all young guys play to their potential, yes we can very much be a fantastic team down the road. I am a patient man and can wait for that to happen. Some people like to bitch just for the sake of it. Everybody wants to be a contender every year, but that is hard to do. I am realistic also that yes assumed stardom is just that; I assume Scoot, Sharpe, etc will turn in stars but nothing is guaranteed. But I do like their potential and eager to see them develop in Rip City.
