    1) Believe what you will about Cronin. Dude knows how to draft....and he has brass balls. He didn't panic when no offer came across worth executing on. He took the best player available at 3. Did the same last year with S2. He will either max that asset in a trade, or make it work....which brings me to number 2....

    2) Watching Scoot show off his teeth in the hallway, disappointed me. I watched Cronin's expression walking behind him, and I believe I saw the same thing on his face. No doubt the kid has all world talent. That doesn't translate nearly enough when they have to outwork NBA vets.....season after season. I have listened to him speak on more than a few q&a's. Not very much humility. He says the right buzz words, but if you listen between the words.....it's Scoots world, and we're just living in it.

    3) Was that the draft or a modeling show? Good freaking lord.....look what you have created, NBA. It felt like the Oscars. Only thing missing was stupidly revealing cleavage. Last one I'll ever watch. I'll listen or follow the results, but as disgusted as I was with the change in Superbowl halftime shows from kick ass bands to CGI looking dance troupes, this was way worse.

    4) Just listen to Wembanyama's post draft q&a and you will witness maturity, and humility. Talent is great, but the humility as a foundation to grow that talent, is what I hope for and respect as a fan. I know he was never a real possibility for my team once the balls dropped, but I chose him to juxtapose against my Scoot observations.

    5) I projected the Murray selection and I could not be happier. Love his stature, size, and his game. Great to have a lefty that can shoot on the roster. Speaking of humility, he came from Iowa. Nuff said. This selection was my dream at 23. Rarely in sports, do you get your dream.

    6) I certainly was not expecting Scott VP's post NBA draft's piece to be this......

As a fan of the Blazers, the Indy Colts (the last 5 years), and the Beavers.....overall, I am not used to my team being "the" talked about team. Verrrrrrry refreshing.

    7) I think I see a trade at some point before the new CBA. It will not include Lillard. He is being extremely quiet right now, and I think there is a loose plan, and he is hopeful for the roster changes that come soon. I believe this is his home, and will stay here. I also believe Cronin is doing everything possible to bring the team post Neil O, to getting a shot at a title with Lillard.

I ran out of things...care to add the other 3?

I'm hoping there are things in place that they just can't talk about, that will help us. But, I don't know how we can upgrade with the players and salary we have to use.

Just curious, what made you a Colts fan? I have been a fan since I was a child when they had Eric Dickerson and they were absolutely terrible until Jim Harbaugh came along.

My parents took us to the house of a co-worker of my father's during the holidays to see my first NFL game on TV. It was SB V against the Cowboys in 1970. Watched Johnny U and fell in love with the horseshoe on the helmet. Been a fan since.
