<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Dallas Morning News)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Mavericks have reached an agreement in principle on a three-year contract with sixth man Jerry Stackhouse, two sources said Thursday afternoon. While details remain to be finalized, the two sides have agreed on a deal that will make Stackhouse's salary for next season more than the mid-level exception, which is expected to be around $6 million. If the deal starts at $6.5 million, it would be worth more than $21 million for three seasons. It was not immediately known if any option years, either for the team or for Stackhouse, were included in the deal.</div></p> That's about the deal he was on last time. Makes sense for both sides, now we have to actually add on to the team.</p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Premier)</div><div class='quotemain'>Three years is a lot for a guy that's turning 33.</div></p> Says the guy with the Ray Allen avatar. There is less than a year difference in their ages and Ray is making almost 10 million more per season for the same 3 seasons.</p>
One cannot replace Ray's production with a younger player since its difficult to find guys that perform as well as Allen at a lesser age, though one can likely replace Stackhouse's production with a younger player, since his abilities are rather common.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Premier)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'll take Nocioni over Stackhouse and he will sign for about seven million per.</div> It all depends upon on what a team needs. The Mavs need perimeter scoring off the bench far more than they need a backup to their two best players.
Ray Allen is three times the player of Stackhouse. Bad comparison. (I don't care about age, Allen is a superstar)

What season did Wade score 60 a game? </p> </p> Thats not a good way to compare players. Everyone knows (apparently except you) that Ray Allen is better than Stackhouse. Best shooter in the league if not the world.</p> And Stack? 6th player of the year?</p> </p> </p>
