Donaldson and Stanton are now a combined 27 for 168 .161 Avg. Throw in DJ and they combine for 80 for 400 .200 Avg. Judge or no Judge the Yankees are lucky they're not well below .500.

Yanks finally announce judge has a torn ligament and may not be back this season. What a disaster and news they’ve known about for awhile and neglected to share with the fans.

He’s done for the season and at this point the Yanks need to be sellers at the deadline to the best of their ability (tough to move the trash we have) and rebuild. I don’t know if they’ll be able to move Donaldson, Stanton, DJ but they need to try, even if they eat the entire contract just to get them outta here. Trade Gleyber for young pitching prospects. Shut down Rodon for the year, don’t bring back Montas this year (let him heal at a proper pace and not rushed), call up the Martian and let him get a feel for major league pitching with no pressure, call up Perazza to take over either 2nd base or move Volpe to 2nd and play him at short. And for the love of his, fire Boone, Cashman, the entire coaching staff and the entire training/strength and conditioning staff. Only if those firings are done can this team truly rebuild. If we keep any of those management people we might as well not make any moves.

Sadly, this is a very difficult team to watch. Even the wins are not very exciting.

I know that some us have mentioned this before, but the Yanx' medical team and conditioning coaches have a history of not doing their jobs.
