A friend just told me that it's highly unlikely the best combo of Dame's teammate over an entire decade would win a title. The fact that this could even be debated is a total failure.

    This.

Tee shirt fans. Show up when things are good.

Thing about Miami is that this year was an total fluke. Shot close to 5 percent better from three. Giannis was hurt. Everything broke their way. Butler going on 40.

If Dame were to leave and go to Miami, they are gonna blow it up next year. He doesn't want to sell out for that. He's all Blazer and folks will see soon enough.

wow....one all-star , the horrible mesh with CJ, and about 3 other low-level starters

is there any star in the NBA who would have put up with that kind of abject front office incompetence?

Certainly nobody of Dame's talent level has every done it for that duration. I still can't believe there were folks who thought the 2017-2021 teams were under-achieving

So, you're saying Dame is definitely not asking out. That's a relief.

A few of the mods got under each other's skins. It's being handled. We are human. We aren't bots. A lot of the BS posts going on aren't against the rules. We can't stop everything you don't like. If you'd like to go elsewhere, that's your prerogative.

I would say that losing to a severely hobbled Nuggets team in the first round was shameful. That was definitely under-achieving.

I'm not going to debate every 6 game stretch in the era was something to be proud of. Overall, the results were way better than they should have been. Some realized it then, others are coming around to it now, and there are probably those who still don't get it.

Loyal to the soil. Likely won't see it again, and for sure in Portland. I'm hoping Joe isn't a snake oil salesman, and was being truthful about building around Dame. But it ain't looking good.

And to think, Dame shut it down, having his BEST season ,so the Blazers could put themselves in a position to draft high ,and have assets, and they might end up biting him in the ass. It's disgusting , and dirty if it ends this way.

this stupid narrative that Dame was the shadow GM preventing Olshey from doing his job...it's actually worse than stupid

It's a required narrative if the goal is to paint Dame as the bad guy.

Hold up... he might not have been carrying a sign out in front of the Rose Garden saying that he wants to keep CJ and Stotts, but those two weren't gone until Dame started being vocally grumpy.

CJ was gone as soon as Neil was fired. Neil didn't want to trade him. He could have, regardless of Dame.

I can't come up with a good reason for why Cronin himself wouldn't want to build a legit contender around Dame. Doesn't mean he's going to be able to make the moves to do so though.

Oh god, new item on the list to complain about Dame for...

He didn't publicly bitch about players and coaches.
