No. And I think Dame would understand, as long as we get better.

J.Quick tossed the toradol alien face hugger at Cronin after the Payton trade. His good guy, bad guy act is quite annoying. Surprised the team still allows one of the world's biggest trolls to be a Blazers reporter.

    Hi

It's June 27th. No promises about an off-season can be broken on June 27th.

I also don't think DDR is a great complement to Grant for defense/rebounding, which I assume is your point. But another deficiency we had last year was an SF who could create his own shot. Dame, Shae, and DDR could all provide that. (Grant as well if he is the 4th option)

I couldn't get further than the " It’s time for Lillard to say what he means" BS. He has said what he means. He wants to be in Portland competing in the playoffs. He's been VERY clear about that. He wants to win in Portland.

Everybody struggling with that are just being drama queens.

I'm sorry if that hurts feelings. Deal with it.

He would be much better then playing the scrubs we had to for much of last season. So he could really help us become a legit playoff team.

But can he get us to contending? No chance - he sucks defensively and provides little court spacing. That Blazers team would get smoked in the playoffs.

    Depends what the goal is.

Everyone who has a brain needs to block Marang. He offers nothing. Never listen to a word he says. Hes the worst out of the entire NBA.

Yeah but with Dame, Shae, and Grant on the floor...they can provide spacing for him. He is not a great defender, but I don't think he "sucks". I read a couple of articles that suggested he has gotten better over the years.

Quick is so butthurt. He got cut out of the circle and consistently wants the worst for the team so he can write about it.

Use to be the other way around, not no more.

Someone should reply with "I'll take time before Nurk hurts his Vagina again for $1000.00 Alex"

"Short"? He's about an inch taller than Dame is.

"Throw away"? I don't know if you've, like, read my posts but I've said repeatedly there's no reason to trade Dame. I've done so since the draft. Just like, before the draft, I said that we should trade Dame if it makes sense. You can ascribe all sorts of bad intentions to me (or others) but "throwing away" is simply not the case.

As for "Scoop hype"... I have no idea what you're talking about. It is not primarily Blazers fans that are saying he was the second-best player in the draft and that he would be the #1 overall pick in many drafts. It's not hype that he's the youngest player in G League history and was impressive enough to convince people that he's the best PG prospect in years.

For whatever reason, though, you seem more interested in being angry than in paying attention to facts.

That may be the most salient and accurate tweet posted in this forum in weeks. And it sure applies to this forum as well

While it's true that Demar DeRozan's impact on the basketball court may not directly translate to more wins for the Blazers, there's an often overlooked aspect where he could make a significant difference: the locker room cleanliness. Think about it—having a player like DeRozan, known for his work ethic and team-first attitude, actively contributing to keeping the locker room tidy would be a boon for the janitorial staff.

Maintaining a clean and organized space is vital for team morale and overall hygiene. DeRozan's willingness to roll up his sleeves and assist the janitorial staff in their duties would create a positive atmosphere and show his commitment to the team beyond just his on-court performance. It would also inspire his teammates to follow suit and take responsibility for their surroundings.

Remember, a clean and well-kept locker room can have a direct impact on the team's mindset and cohesion. It's not just about wins and losses; it's about fostering a supportive environment where everyone contributes to the team's success. So, even though DeRozan's assistance may not directly influence game outcomes, his contributions to locker room cleanliness would be highly appreciated by the janitorial staff, making him a valuable addition to any team.

"Vaginal hematoma" is the injury you're thinking of. And it's a serious injury. I think that's what basically ruined Derek Anderson's career as a Blazer...
