<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kansas City president Carl Peterson said he chatted with Lions president Matt Millen about QB Joey Harrington last week and again Monday, the Wichita Eagle reported. Arizona has expressed interest in Harrington and free agent QB Kerry Collins publicly. Harrington is expected to be traded or released before June 15, when he is due a $4-million roster bonus.http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article.../603230526/1049</div>Hmm... Maybe if the Cardinals Nab him then he could be a much better player with that weapons they got... Same with Chiefs so I think this would be a great move for both teams because Harrington still have time to become a lot better quarterback because he has a lot of potenital.

I hope he goes to the Chiefs cuz I just like that team and I'd love rooting for my cousin if he were on it.

Tell your cousin he should beg Mike Martz to come with him wherever he goes. Martz would've made him a great quarterback.

Then he lashed out with a "Everybody in that lockerroom hates me, and I hate them all to!! " [IMG] ..poor guy. He's nothing but trash, and I can't wait for him to go somewhere and fail even worse so al of these pro-Joey people who haven't watched him play horribly for 4 seasons will stop with it.

I see the Cheifs getting him because Trent is old and Joey might get the Starting job in the 07-08 season.

Joey is a good QB, when put in the right offense/enviroment. I will stand by that for the rest of my life.

I've seen him throw costly INT's with the game on the line countless times. I've seen him have loads of time..wait wait..hop around like a duck and do absolutely nothing. I've seen him throw 2 yard passes when it's 3rd and 15 90% of the time. And i've seen him throw the ball further then 25 yards, maybe 2-3 times...and not take ANY chances at all.The dude is just so nice and easygoing that people keep coming back to him because they WANT him to succeed. Ryan leaf proved more then this kid. I can count the amount of good games he's had on 1 hand. And i'm not even sure I could fill it.

All Joey needs is somewhere he can just hand-off the ball and not have all that pressure on him to make plays. He could do that in Detriot because they didnt run the ball a lot.I see him in KC where he can hand off the ball to LJ and pass to the greatest TE in the league.

This is my opinion about Joey Harrington. I don't feel like rewriting it so I'm gonna quotte what I said in another thread.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>This kid needs a fresh start and have the pressure taken off of him. He is a perfect example of a young, immature quarterback expected to save a franchise with bad ownership, horrendous front office people and horrible coaches over his tenure. He was in a no win situation and don't give me he had great weapons to work with either. Name a receiver who was good and not a rookie? I'll take him at the right price, let him relax and just play without expectations. Bet me he turns into a solid NFL quarterback; he has the tools..</div>

Stupid idea for both teams -- they have Trent Green and Kurt Warner [IMG] [IMG]

I can see him coming to KC, a good backup. Maybe he can learn the runs and eventually start?

I think he would be a great fit in KC1.Trent Green is getting old and Joey can sit out one year and learn the new system2.They have a great runningback so he wouldn't have to throw the ball every down like in Detriot3.The Chiefs have a good general manger and not that dumbshit Matt Millen4.The Chiefs are a playoff contender and I think that would boost his confidence so much rather them him being with the worthless Lions

Herm has a system? [IMG] In 5 years with the Jets he had yet to formulate a good gameplan. I would have much rather taken my chances with Marinelli and Martz then I would with Herm Edwards running the show. 2. Kevin Jones isnt a good Runningback? The problem in Detroit wasnt the runningback as much as it was not having any kind of offensive line to make lanes for the Runningback. Now I think having a good offensive line will help out Harrington in KC (Should he go there), but dont you make knocks at my boy KJ [IMG] 3. While Carl Peterson might be a bit smarter then Matt Millen, he aint exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. This is the guy who went like 4 years in a row completely ignoreing the KC Defense, thinking they could win with only an offense.
