It's a massive troll job that appears to be working on many people.

Like with Mrs. HCP, size matters. Swinging up isn’t a huge issue if your PF and C control the glass. Ours don’t

Does anyone actually think we’re going to do anything besides sign Grant and Thybullea?

I don't think we will sign them if Dame hasn't said other things we do are good enough for him... at least not Grant. I get where you're coming from because Joe has said he was going to push all of his chips in and then done nothing every time (three times so far) that he's said it. I just don't think Dame will go for it this time but I could be very wrong because Dame has put up with it up to this point.

I would guess we’ll do the annual tradition of signing someone who never plays for us.

50-50 Portland trades Ant or Nurk, maybe 60-40

    20-80 they trade Dame.

    50-50 they trade Little

70-30 they use at least the tax-MLE

40-60 they use the Payton TPE

handle those odds carefully, they came directly from my colon

I don't think they have a choice. If we go into next season with Dame/Ant/Scoot/Shae..... that's going to be a nightmare.

Yes, but the move this summer will be appetizer, the move at trade deadline in February will be the main course

Right now many teams are hopeful to compete and do not want to trade their good players, but by February when they underperform, the likes of Bam and Joel will be available as their teams decide to start over

Not true, the nightmare would be if we trade Ant for an irrelevant vet, overpay Grant, Dame asks out so we trade him where he wants for a poor return, one of Scoot or Sharpe never develop, and we have huge holes all over this team with the only good player being a single guard.

I'll be fine with keeping that quad group together, Sharpe can play at the 3 and the odds everyone is healthy is rare. My fear is we see a stupid move done soon. Recent trades or signings haven't been promising.

Joe deserves to be fired on the spot if he is so grossly negligent

It doesn't sound like Ant has much value around the league though.

    Old Popovich Interview:
Why didn't the Spurs make a trade this offseason?
We did. We traded Rookie Tim Duncan for 2nd year player Tim Duncan.

    Trade Idea:
Rookie SG Shaedon Sharpe for 2nd year player SF Shaedon Sharpe.

The same problem we had with CJ. An undersized SG who doesn’t play defense for a damn. At least Simons has a reasonable contract.

I see Joe making incremental Anthony Tolliver type moves. I think his options are really really limited, esp. in FA

Can't wait to sign another player under 6'6.

    You know it's gonna happen!

We got good value for CJ, at one point the result of that trade was Hart and Grant. We should be able to get solid value for Ant maybe not in a way that makes everyone extremely happy but at least in a way that we make this roster better with less redundant pieces... and I'm not saying addition by subtraction I'm saying we take what the league thinks Ant is worth in the form of a lateral movement Ant for a player the league deems to be his caliber at a position of need.

If he doesn't have value then keep him.
