I think Murray is projected to be a better shooter.

Hart is a career 35% three point shooter.

 

Thybulle was part of the GP2 trade. And I dont think will get paid as much as people presume in this new landscape.

 

yes and no. Yes, sign-and-trades happen all the time. But no, I never heard KP announce that he's opting in, but asking for a trade. There was not an announcement in the KP transaction. The announcement from Harden was what I found to be weird.

I'm always excited for the opening of the free agent period . With the new CBA, it looks to be super interesting.

 

Or, they don't do it, they don't get pick #23, Hart does not opt in for $13m in Portland and the Blazers select pick #9 at the draft or try to trade him for some underwhelming veteran help that does not pan out and Dame gets frustrated and asks out.

We can both play the what-if. Moving Hart was the right thing to do. The Blazers got lucky, but they would not have if they did not create the opportunity to get lucky. That's what GMs with bad assets have to do.

 

They are both still eligible for two-way contracts, correct? I don't think them getting the QO affects Portland's free agency plans.

 

I think it's clear we disagree on this. I don't consider Josh Hart to be a "bad asset."

I don't think he's a bad asset at all. I consider him to be a luxury that we can't afford right now (because I don't think Dame is staying.)

 

Hart is a player that someone like PHX would die to have as the 6th man but even if Dame does stay, it is hard to justify his rumored, soon to be, contract (4 x 20) in this new CBA marketplace. Man things are messed up.
