<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Redskins Add to Depth On Offensive LineBy Gary FitzgeraldRedskins.comMarch 24, 2006The Redskins have signed a pair of veteran offensive linemen in Mike Pucillo, formerly of the Cleveland Browns, and Tyson Walter, formerly of the Houston Texans. The team announced the signings on Friday. It is expected that Pucillo and Walter will compete for backup roles next season. Coaches are comfortable with the starting five of Chris Samuels, Derrick Dockery, Casey Rabach, Randy Thomas and Jon Jansen.Pucillo is a 6-4, 311-pound interior offensive lineman who can both guard and center. He originally entered the league as a seventh-round (215th overall) selection by the Buffalo Bills in the 2002 NFL Draft. He played his college ball at Auburn.During his career, Pucillo has appeared in 25 games with 18 starts. Last season, he played in 10 games with six starts with the Browns. Pucillo saw his most extensive as a pro in 2003, starting 12 games at guard with the Bills.Walter, 6-4 and 303 pounds, was orginally a sixth-round selection of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2002 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 40 games with nine starts during his four-year career.Walter, who played his college ball at Ohio State, spent three seasons with Dallas, playing both guard and center positions. He was released by the Cowboys on Sept. 3, 2005, and signed in Houston last November. He did not register any playing time, however.</div>http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=16103I'm glad we're looking at the depth of our offensive line because we really didn't have anyone to step up for Randy Thomas last year when he went down. We need guys that can step up when other guys are injured (or for any other reason)

^ Yeah he will, especially if the defense tries to stop our passing game.
